✊ WHY WE RALLY
This is a weekly, sustained protest against the accelerating rise of authoritarian rule, state violence, and systemic corruption under the Trump administration.
We are rallying to confront:
- The construction of an authoritarian state that uses fear, surveillance, and force to silence dissent
- The mass targeting, criminalization, and disappearance of immigrants and vulnerable citizens carried out by the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
- The normalization of corruption, abuse of power, and rule-by-decree governance
- The genocide that continues to this day in Gaza and the West Bank under the ongoing military campaign by Israel against the Palestinian people, aided by the United States
- The endless and illegal war in Iran, perpetrated by the United States and Israel.
This rally is about one core truth:
- Human rights do not depend on citizenship.
- Human dignity does not stop at borders.
- Democracy cannot survive corruption and terror.
🎯 WHAT WE ARE DEMANDING
- An end to ICE and DHS being used as political weapons to terrorize our immigrant communities
- The abolition of ICE activity in Douglas County, Oregon, and all of the United States
- Full protection of due process, asylum rights, and constitutional liberties for all people within our borders
- An end to authoritarian governance, political repression, and state intimidation
- An immediate end to U.S. complicity in Israel's genocide against the Palestinian people
- Real accountability for corruption, war crimes, and abuse of power—at every level
- An end to illegal and endless wars
👥 WHO THIS RALLY IS FOR
- Immigrants, refugees, and their allies

🕊 SAFETY, DISCIPLINE & NONVIOLENCE
This is a peaceful, nonviolent protest, and that means:
- Everyone is responsible for their own de-escalation, as a safety team may not be available for every protest

Communities Not Cages: National Day of Action to Stop ICE Warehouse Detention
🛑 COMMUNITIES NOT CAGES
National Day of Action to Stop ICE Warehouse Detention
Hosted by: Indivisible Douglas County
Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Time: 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm PDT
Location: Sidewalk In Front of Stewart Parkway Medical Building (across from McDonald's), 2460 Northwest Stewart Parkway, Roseburg, OR 97471
📣 Speakers: We will have speakers at the kick off of this event. Come out, listen, and be inspired — then let your voice be heard!
✊ WHY WE RALLY
The Trump administration is waging a war on immigrants — and it's coming to our communities. ICE currently detains more than 60,000 people and has plans to expand to 100,000, locking them in massive warehouse facilities that could hold up to 10,000 people each. This is not just a national crisis. It is a local one. We are here to say: not in Roseburg, not in Douglas County, not in Oregon, not anywhere. ICE out everywhere!
- Detention warehouses are inhumane by design. Large-scale, makeshift facilities cut people off from their families, lawyers, and support networks — subjecting them to conditions built for storing products, not people. Abuse and death in ICE custody will only increase.
- Industrial warehouses are not fit for human habitation. They lack the basic sewage and water infrastructure needed to keep thousands of people healthy. Poor sanitation means serious risk of disease. No one is safe in ICE custody.
- Corporate greed is fueling the expansion. Companies are cashing in — from high-value property sales to lucrative broker commissions — profiting off the prospect of disappearing people into ICE's abusive detention system.
- ICE is bypassing local democracy. They are ignoring elected officials, overriding community opposition, and operating in secrecy — diverting resources from the real needs of our communities.
- We've seen this before. Warehouse detention echoes one of America's darkest chapters — the incarceration of Japanese Americans in the 1940s. It was wrong then. It is wrong now.
- Communities are fighting back — and winning. Towns across Utah, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Virginia, Mississippi, and more have stopped ICE warehouse plans through organizing and public pressure. We can too.
🎯 WHAT WE ARE DEMANDING
Our elected officials at every level — city, county, and state — must take a clear stand. No detention warehouses. No ICE expansion. No excuses.
1. Prevent any current or future warehouse detention plans — immediately.
Warehouses are not appropriate for human confinement. Any existing or proposed plans to convert industrial space into immigration detention must be canceled in full.
2. Reject all public funding, approvals, and local resources for detention expansion.
Public dollars and local infrastructure must not be used to cage people. Invest those resources in education, healthcare, and housing instead.
3. Require full transparency and community consent.
No detention project should move forward without public disclosure, community input, and full compliance with environmental review laws including NEPA. Decisions about caging people cannot be made behind closed doors.
🕊 SAFETY, DISCIPLINE & NONVIOLENCE
This is a peaceful, nonviolent protest, and that means:
- Everyone is responsible for their own de-escalation, as a safety team may not be available for every protest
- Do not take the bait of those who wish to antagonize us or our movement — disengage or remove yourself from conflict
- No physical engagement with counter-protesters
- No weapons of any kind
🪧 WHAT TO BRING
- Signs, banners, flags
- Justice-centered, anti-authoritarian, pro-human-rights messages
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Water, sunscreen, medication
✍️ SUGGESTED SIGN MESSAGING

Rally Against The Regime –Saturday Protests: EARTH DAY EDITION TO rally for the climate
🛑 RALLY AGAINST THE REGIME
Earth Day Edition — Rally For The Climate
Hosted by: Indivisible Douglas County
In Partnership with: Douglas County Global Warming Coalition
✊ WHY WE RALLY THIS WEEK
We hold this rally every Saturday to protest the accelerating rise of authoritarian rule under the Trump administration. But this week is different.
With Earth Day approaching on April 22, we are joining our partners at the Douglas County Global Warming Coalition to dedicate this Saturday's protest entirely to the environmental destruction being carried out by the same regime we rally against every week. The assault on our planet deserves its own moment — and this is it.
This Saturday, our sole focus is the war being waged against our environment, our climate, and the science that protects both.
🌍 THE WAR ON OUR PLANET
The Trump administration has launched what can only be described as an all-out assault on environmental protection and global climate action:
- Withdrew the United States from the Paris Agreement — for the second time — abandoning the global framework to limit warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels
- Declared intent to withdraw from the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and the Green Climate Fund
- Cancelled the sixth National Climate Assessment and scrubbed climate science data from official government websites
- Gutted the EPA and defunded NOAA, resulting in mass layoffs, grant freezes, and the loss of critical environmental monitoring data
- Ramped up oil and gas production and fast-tracked deep-sea mining under a "drill, baby, drill" agenda
- Used the threat of tariffs to bully other nations into abandoning a global carbon levy on the shipping industry
- Cracked down on climate activists, labeling them "ecoterrorists" and emboldening fossil fuel companies to pursue litigation against them
- Increased military operations with a heavy carbon footprint that compounds the environmental damage already being done
This is not just bad policy. It is a deliberate, systematic dismantling of the protections that stand between us and an uninhabitable planet. We are here because the stakes could not be higher.
🎯 WHAT WE ARE DEMANDING
- The restoration of U.S. participation in the Paris Agreement and other global climate bodies
- An end to the suppression of climate science and the restoration of cancelled research programs and data
- A halt to the fossil fuel expansion agenda that prioritizes industry profits over the health of our communities and our planet
- Full funding and restoration of the EPA, NOAA, and other environmental agencies
- Real accountability for the politicians and industries driving us toward climate catastrophe
👥 WHO THIS RALLY IS FOR
- Environmental advocates and anyone who cares about the future of our planet
- Students, parents, and grandparents who are thinking about the world we are leaving behind
- Workers whose livelihoods and communities are threatened by climate change
- Faith leaders, scientists, farmers, and outdoor enthusiasts
- Anyone who believes a livable planet is not negotiable
- You do not have to be an activist. You just have to care.
🪧 WHAT TO BRING — EARTH DAY EDITION
This week we are encouraging everyone to switch up their signs! If you have the time and ability, bring Earth Day-themed messages to reflect this Saturday's focus. Some ideas:
- "No Planet, No Future"
- "Defend Our Earth"
- "Climate Action Now"
- "Science Is Not a Hoax"
- "Our Planet, Our Fight"
Of course, bring whatever sign speaks to you — all voices are welcome. And as always:
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Water, sunscreen, medication
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
NO KINGS 3.0
📣 Get Event Updates (Optional)

Many attendees choose to register so they receive real-time updates if anything changes. Optional registration should be done through Mobilize. Just click on the button below.
NO KINGS 3.0 – MARCH 28TH
In America, we have no kings.
In early 2025, approximately 500 people showed up in Roseburg to protest the direction of this country. In June, that number surged to 2,000. On October 18th, 2025, 2,500 people gathered for No Kings 2.0.
That is acceleration.
Each event has grown. Each mobilization has expanded. Each turnout has increased visible public pressure.
We protested lawfully and peacefully. We stood together. And we demonstrated that civic engagement here is intensifying.
Since October, the regime has intensified its attacks on democratic institutions, expanded executive overreach, deepened repression, and accelerated efforts to consolidate power.
It is a reaction. Escalation is not confidence. It is fragility under pressure.
When nationwide mobilizations expand, that pressure compounds. When millions gather publicly and lawfully, political calculations shift. Institutions respond. The illusion of inevitability fractures.
Growth is leverage.
Authoritarian regimes rarely collapse at their apparent peak of power. They weaken when public momentum overtakes fear — when visible, sustained civic resistance becomes larger than the intimidation designed to suppress it.

This is a weekly, sustained protest against the accelerating rise of authoritarian rule, state violence, and systemic corruption under the Trump administration.
We are rallying to confront:

- The genocide that continues to this day in Gaza and the West Bank under the ongoing military campaign by Israel against the Palestinian people, aided by the United States
This rally is about one core truth:
- Human rights do not depend on citizenship.
- Human dignity does not stop at borders.
- Democracy cannot survive corruption and terror.

- An end to ICE and DHS being used as political weapons to terrorize our immigrant communities
- The abolition of ICE activity in the United States
- Full protection of due process, asylum rights, and constitutional liberties for all people within our borders
- An end to authoritarian governance, political repression, and state intimidation
- An immediate end to U.S. complicity in Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people
- Real accountability for corruption, war crimes, and abuse of power—at every level

- You just have to care about human lives and democratic freedom.
🕊 SAFETY, DISCIPLINE & NONVIOLENCE
This is a peaceful, nonviolent protest, and that means:

- No weapons of any kind
🪧 WHAT TO BRING
- Signs, banners, flags

Free America Walkout
Free America Walkout
Tuesday, January 20th, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pacific
📍 I-5 Overpass Visibility Event
One year into Trump’s second regime, we face an escalating fascist threat: raids on our communities, troops occupying our cities, attacks on immigrants, families torn apart, mass surveillance, and terror used to keep us silent. It is time for our communities to escalate as well.
2025 was a year of marches that showed our collective strength. And as the threats grow, our movement must evolve and escalate. Trump and his allies have already made clear that a second term would bring a deeper wave of misogyny, racism, xenophobia, and violence than the first.
On January 20, we call on our communities to organize teams, call your neighbors and classmates, and turn your back and walk out on fascism. Host mutual aid planning meetings, organize public service, but walk out to block the normal routines of power, and make the stakes real. This is a protest and a promise. In the face of fascism, we will be ungovernable.
★ We walk towards a Free America. ★
★ We fight for a future that belongs to us all. ★
★ Everybody in, nobody out. ★
★ Welcome to the Free America Walkout ★
This a local Indivisible event!
Walk out at 2:00 pm local time, everywhere.
Join us at the I-5 overpass on Stewart Parkway for a visibility event.

- Walk out in protest of the failure to turn over the Epstein files!

Keep your lettering huge and high-contrast. People must be able to read your sign at 60+ mph from I-5. Big, bold, simple = effective. 🚗💨

I.C.E. Off Our Streets!
I.C.E. OFF OUR STREETS.
STOP TERRORIZING OUR NEIGHBORS.
I.C.E. has spent the entire year terrorizing our immigrant neighbors — and we’re done staying quiet about it.
On Saturday, December 13th, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., we’re rallying at the Stewart Parkway overpass above I-5 to send a message that cannot be ignored - Abolish I.C.E.!
This is a peaceful, nonviolent, high-visibility rally demanding an end to I.C.E.’s cruelty, fear tactics, and harassment of immigrant families.
We will gather on the sidewalk along the Stewart Parkway overpass above I-5 and hold signs and banners that drivers can clearly see from the highway. Our goal is visibility, solidarity, and truth-telling.

❤️ Why We’re Doing This
I.C.E.’s cruelty is not abstract — it’s real, local, and devastating. Families live in fear. Workers disappear. Communities are harassed. Children grow up terrified their parents won’t come home.
We refuse to normalize this.
We refuse to be silent.
We refuse to let I.C.E. terrorize our immigrant neighbors in our name.
Stand with us. Stand with our immigrant neighbors.
Join us on the overpass and help deliver a message loud enough for the whole city — and the whole freeway — to hear.
I.C.E. OFF OUR STREETS.
IMMIGRANT NEIGHBORS BELONG.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors: Community Food & Supply Drive
No one in our community should struggle to find food. On Saturday, November 15th, we are coming together to support Umpqua Basin Food Not Bombs, a volunteer-run group that shares free meals and essential supplies with anyone who needs them.
Right now, the need is especially urgent.
Due to the recent federal government shutdown and temporary cuts to SNAP (food assistance) benefits, many families and individuals who usually rely on those funds are suddenly without grocery support. This means more of our neighbors are experiencing hunger — including people who are housed and working.
This is not a protest — it is a mutual aid community care effort.

Veterans Day Rally
This Veterans Day, we come together to honor those who’ve stood for us — and to make sure our nation keeps its promises to them: care, benefits, and dignity.
Our veterans defended freedom and the Constitution. Today, too many face risks to the health care and benefits they earned. This rally is a respectful, patriotic show of support to ensure America keeps its word to those who served.
Please bring an American flag. Veterans are warmly invited to wear attire that represents their branch of service or where they served. Signs are welcome if they support our veterans and call for protecting their care and benefits (including opposing harmful cuts to VA programs).
📍 Below are two reference images showing where our rally site will be located — at the Roseburg VA Healthcare System entrance. On the Map View, pay attention to the areas highlighted in yellow. On the Street View, look for the red arrows pointing to our gathering spot.

No Kings 2.0
On October 18th, we rise again — louder, stronger, unstoppable.
✊ Let’s Recap
In June, Roseburg made history.
📍 In a town of just 23,795, more than 2,000 people lined the sidewalks of Garden Valley Blvd to defend democracy and reject Trump’s wannabe monarchy.
🌎 We stood shoulder-to-shoulder with millions across all 50 states, U.S. territories, and 20 foreign countries. On June 14th, 2025, more than 5 million people participated in “No Kings” protests across over 2,100 cities and towns in the U.S. — one of the largest single-day demonstrations in modern American history.
🔥 Trump’s attempt to turn June 14th into a coronation backfired — his birthday parade was drowned out by protests across the nation and the world. The story of the day wasn’t him — it was us: a movement rising to say America has no kings, no fascism, no genocide, and no state terror.
📅 Next Up: October 18th
Now it’s time to do it again.
📍 Stewart Parkway, Roseburg (The sidewalk in front of CHI Mercy on Stewart Parkway, between NW Edenbower Blvd and Renann Street)
🕛 Saturday, October 18th
This time, we’re moving to a larger location to accommodate even more people and parking. Together with a nationwide coalition of 200+ organizations, we’ll make our voices heard once more.
⚠️ Why We’re Showing Up
Because silence is complicity. Trump and his allies are escalating their war on human rights:
- 🇵🇸 Funding and arming Israel’s genocide against Palestinians, carried out with U.S. taxpayer money.
- ❌ Spreading fascism at home while crushing dissent.
- 🪖 Deploying troops into our cities and unleashing I.C.E. to terrorize immigrant communities.
- 💰 Feeding billionaires while families struggle — and covering up for Jeffrey Epstein and his pedophile friends.
Our response must be louder, bigger, and bolder than before — because people’s lives depend on it.
🗣️ Our Message
- ❌ No to genocide in Palestine, funded by the U.S.
- ❌ No to fascism at home and abroad.
- ❌ No to troops in our streets and ICE terror in our communities.
- ❌ No to corruption that protects billionaires and pedophiles while ordinary people suffer.
- 👑 No Kings in the USA
We showed up on June 14th.
On October 18th, we’ll show up again — stronger, louder, and unshakable.
🧰 What to Bring & How to Show Up
This isn’t just a protest — it’s people power on display.

- The U.S.-funded genocide and famine in Gaza
- ICE’s raids, kidnappings, and terror targeting immigrant and migrant communities
- The protection of Jeffrey Epstein and his network of pedophiles by Trump and the GOP
Bring a sign! 🪧
We’ll have massive banners ready, and we encourage bold, legible protest signs. Suggested messages include:
- Protect Free Speech
- Defend the Constitution
- Trump is Corrupt
- Republicans are Corrupt
- Let Gaza Live
- Stop Starving Gaza
- End Genocide
- Abolish ICE
- Release the Epstein Files
- GOP Protects Pedophiles

- Solidarity with the Oppressed
Let’s make this action highly visible — and impossible to ignore.
Parking & Access 🚗
Northbound facing I-5 overpass access: Park in the empty lot at the top of Boulder Drive on your left (go up the curved road behind Oregon Pacific Bank off Edenbower Blvd & Boulder Drive), or along the roadway.
Southbound facing I-5 overpass access: If you don’t want to cross the busy road to reach the other overpass (facing Southbound I-5), park at the Roseburg Regional Airport and walk up the hill on Stewart Parkway to meet us at the top.
Commitment to Nonviolence ✌️
This is a local Indivisible Douglas County event. A core principle of all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to de-escalate potential confrontations and embody the values we stand for.

I-5 Banner Drop #1
On August 30th in Roseburg, we join a nation-wide day of action stretching from the Mexico border to Canada. Timed for the height of Labor Day weekend traffic, we’ll make sure thousands of people see — and cannot ignore — the humanitarian crises and political corruption we are standing against.
📍 We’ll gather to hang large protest banners calling out:
🇵🇸 The U.S.-funded genocide and famine in Gaza — Palestinians starved and abused under apartheid by Netanyahu’s far-right government, with U.S. aid and political cover.
🧊 ICE’s raids, kidnappings, and terror — targeting immigrant and migrant communities, tearing apart families, and even wrongfully deporting U.S. citizens.
🧒 The protection of pedophiles by political and business elites — including Donald Trump and the GOP, shielding abusers connected to Jeffrey Epstein’s network.
🪧 Bring a sign!
We’ll provide large banners, but we also encourage big, bold protest signs of your own.
Suggested Sign Messages
For Gaza
LET GAZA LIVE
STOP STARVING GAZA
END GENOCIDE
For Immigrant Rights
ABOLISH ICE
STOP TERRORIZING IMMIGRANTS
DEPORTATIONS WITHOUT DUE PROCESS = KIDNAPPING
For Epstein’s Network
RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES
GOP PROTECTS PEDOPHILES
TRUMP PROTECTS PEDOPHILES
PROTECT KIDS, NOT ABUSERS
Let’s make this action highly visible — and impossible to ignore.
🔒 Location Security: To deter counter-protesters and keep attendees safe, the exact protest location will be shared only with those who register via Mobilize.
🚗 Parking may require a significant walk as there is little to no nearby parking. We will accommodate accessibility needs by grouping protesters on nearby sidewalks for those who cannot make it to the overpass.
✌️ This is a peaceful, nonviolent action in the Indivisible tradition — we de-escalate and stand together.
“If you’re not ready to die for it, put the word ‘freedom’ out of your vocabulary.”
